Aztec 1000 – Bristol

The Practice is involved with a significant refurbishment and extension of an existing office building in Aztec West, Bristol. A completely new floor is to be added and all Engineering Services are new. Detailed modelling of the building envelope and glazed facade has been completed to facilitate design of the south face shading system and the energy profile improves on the requirements for compliance. Air source heat pumps provide the heating and comfort cooling of the building together with roof-mounted PV arrays to feed all Landlord areas, Net Zero Carbon Assessment.
