CBC Celebrates CIBSE 30 Under 30 Sustainable Champion Recognition
CBC is delighted to announce that Low Carbon Consultant Ismaila Chongan has been recognised in the Sustainable Champions category of the prestigious CIBSE 30 Under 30 Awards 2026.

The annual CIBSE 30 Under 30 Awards celebrate the brightest young engineering professionals from across the UK and CIBSE regions worldwide. Selected by the CIBSE Global Young Engineers Network (YEN), the 2026 winners represent 10 UK regions as well as the Middle East and North Africa, Hong Kong, and Australia and New Zealand. The awards recognise individuals who are shaping the future of building services engineering through innovation, leadership and a commitment to sustainability.

The Sustainable Champions category specifically recognises individuals who are driving positive environmental change within building services engineering. This may include championing sustainable approaches on projects, contributing to technical guidance, influencing organisational change, or promoting the value of sustainable design across the wider industry.

Sustainable Champions
CBC is proud that one of our team members, Ismaila Chongan has been recognised among this year’s Sustainable Champions. As a Low Carbon Consultant, he specialises in energy modelling and compliance across both residential and commercial developments.
