BREEAM Certificate & Branding Update: What Clients and Assessors Need to Know

As part of BREEAM’s continued progression, a newly updated certificate format has now been released. The refreshed layout provides clearer structure, expanded space for assessment and client details, and introduces the new indigo BREEAM logo.

For clients with existing BREEAM certificates, all previously issued documents remain fully valid. However, any new certificates will reflect the updated branding and visual identity.

Assessment reports available through BREEAM Projects will also transition to the refreshed look. These updates will streamline reporting across the full BREEAM product range, supporting greater consistency and usability.

Updated BREEAM logos and Assessor Badges will be reissued as part of this rollout. It is essential that clients and assessors adopt the correct, current versions to ensure compliance with branding requirements.

Comprehensive user guidelines—covering the appropriate use of BREEAM logos, assessor badges, and project marks—will be made available on the BREEAM Projects platform in the coming weeks.

For organisations seeking a deeper understanding of these changes, we can provide the official notification issued by the Director of Building Performance at BRE. Our team is ready to support a smooth transition and ensure continued confidence in your BREEAM documentation.
