New Build Hotel situated Junction 11 M4.

This new build hotel over three levels is part of a sustainable, mixed-use scheme called Reading Southside. The Hotel will have 198 guest rooms and conference rooms as well as a ballroom and a ‘Living Well’ health club and swimming pool.

Our role has been to oversee the designs of the developer’s team and check all technical submittals for choice of equipment. We have continued throughout the project to monitor the installation and are currently involved with the commissioning and witnessing of the systems in preparation of handover to the client in March 2009.

M&E Services: 

The following services were provided:

• Stage D audit and report.
• Sequential review and approval of detailed design.
• On-site inspections to monitor quality and installation standards in compliance with the ER’s.
• On-site witnessing and signing off of commissioning activities.
• Approval of O&M documents.
