NATIONAL OCEANOGRAPHY BUILDING - SOUTHAMPTON

  The building comprises of a 6 storey office and laboratory block that was completed in 1995.  It is situated within Dock Gate 4 area of Southampton and is currently occupied by University of Southampton and Natural Environment Research Council.

Cudd Bentley has been appointed to undertake a 30 month programme of works to upgrade the existing BMS installation at this prestigious education research facility in Southampton.


THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF THE INNER TEMPLE - LONDON

 Installation of New High Efficiency VRF Heat Pump systems to Function Rooms & Galleries. Fan Coil units & services were concealed within solid timber casings to avoid compromising the appearance of the traditional finishes.  

The installation enabled the original heating pipe coils within ornate plastered ceilings to be drained & isolated thus preventing the risk of damage.

LANDAU FORTE ACADEMY - TAMWORTH

  Two new buildings as part of a new academy trust. Building 11-16 and Post 16 will offer enhanced learning opportunities, and is part of the current BSF programme.

Working direct for Bailey Building Services to progress the design from Stage E to F. The role includes assisting Bailey Building Services in the co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical services.


GRACE ACADEMY PROJECT - COVENTRY

A new build project to replace the existing academy facility in Coventry. Early modelling by the M&E Contractor resolved BB101 compliance issues, and CBC were commissioned to develop key aspects of the Mechanical services, and provide CAD support to the Electrical services designed in-house by the M&E Contractor.


THE Q3 ACADEMY - WALSALL

A new build project to replace the current Dartmouth High School in Walsall. Allowing the school to offer a more wider varied curriculum and to enhance the pupils learning experience. The project forms part of the national building schools for the future program.


KINGS COLLEGE - STAMFORD STREET, LONDON

Client:  CBC were appointed on a Full Duties basis by Bovis Crowngap Ltd for Kings College

Conversion of an existing building with listed frontage to form 500 student en-suite bedrooms, 90 kitchens, laundry and lecture theatre.

8 No  projects nationwide. Cudd Bentley was commissioned to review the existing mechanical and electrical services installations and procurement routes for the Client and to provide full M&E consultancy services for the new build programme.

We introduced new innovative air conditioning systems throughout the programme providing greater energy efficiency and customer comfort whilst reducing capital costs of procurement.
