Consultant Go Back to School

Birmingham based Specialist International Property Asset Management Consultancy Currie & Brown, and Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Consulting Engineers, Cudd Bentley Consulting, have come together to provide professional support and input to the new Ł30 million Q3 Academy. The Q3 Academy to be built at Great Barr moved into a key phase this month, as the second stage of construction work commenced on the site that will be home to the new Ł30 million school. Due to be completed in April 2010, it will replace the existing Dartmouth High School that will be demolished as soon as the new building is completed. This construction phase is being led by Currie & Brown, who are acting as Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor, overssing the project from its intial commencement through the completion. Cudd Bentley Consulting have been appointed as part of the Currie & Brown Team, to oversee the Mechanical and Electrical installation, and to provide technical support. The Q3 Academy forms part of the Governments Education Programme for schools in the 21st Century. The new building will undoubtedly assist in achieving these aims.
